CRI Webinar – Satellite Locations

AACI’s Clinical Research Initiative (CRI) will present its webinar, "Satellite Locations," on Wednesday, June 6, at 1:30 pm EST. The webinar will be hosted by AACI and will be presented by Laurin Priddy, clinical research manager at Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, UT Southwestern Medical Center; Andrea Kruse, clinical trials network manager at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School; and Cathy Hugney, RN, CCRP, regional oncology program manager at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

This webinar will focus on satellite locations with emphasis on the following topics:
• What is the structure of your site and satellite sites?
• How do you determine if satellite sites will open studies? Who reviews for feasibility?
• How do you communicate modifications and re-consent needs with satellite sites?
• Who trains satellite sites on the study?
• How does pharmacy handle satellite sites?
• Do you ever have research patients enrolled at your main institution who want to receive standard of care only infusions at satellite sites?

The webinar is geared toward clinical trials office administrative and medical directors; senior cancer center leaders; deputy directors of clinical research; cancer center administrative directors; CTO managers and supervisors; AACI sustaining members; AACI corporate roundtable members; and representatives from industry.
