Registration Opens March 15 for 9th Annual AACI CRI Meeting

The 9th Annual AACI Clinical Research Initiative Meeting will be held July 12-13, in Chicago, IL, at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel. Information on the meeting, including the program and electronic registration, will be available on the AACI website on Wednesday, March 15.

Last year’s CRI annual meeting attracted 302 attendees discussing a variety of issues related to the conduct of cancer clinical trials at academic cancer centers.

The AACI Clinical Research Initiative (CRI) Steering Committee is currently soliciting abstracts for the meeting which will focus on moving science forward and addressing the challenges cancer center clinical trials office leaders face when working with novel clinical trials. The purpose of the abstracts is to inform the CRI meeting audience about clinical trials office challenges and solutions implemented at the cancer centers. Three abstracts will be selected for oral presentation at the meeting. Up to two authors of each winning abstract will receive complimentary meeting registration. While AACI encourages collaboration with external organizations, only employees of AACI member cancer centers are eligible for complimentary meeting registration.

All authors who submit abstracts are encouraged to present and discuss their findings, as a poster, during the poster session at the meeting. Information about the poster session is forthcoming.

Abstract FAQs, template and scoring guidelines can be found on the AACI website.
