The University of Illinois Cancer Center is seeking candidates for a Clinical Research Quality Assurance & Education Specialist position.
This position develops and implements training programs for the UICC. Training programs will include the basics of clinical research, institutional policy and procedure training, audit preparation, developing sponsor relationships, and facilitating disease indication training for non-clinical staff. Oversees the operational clinical research compliance functions for the UICC. Functions include protection of human subjects; monitoring and auditing oncology clinical research trials; research involving radiation, biorepositories, biohazards and controlled substances. This position participates in all aspects of research integrity, clinical research compliance and privacy initiatives, including workforce orientation, incident response & documentation, research compliance monitoring and investigations, educates stakeholders on research compliance topics, and supports policy and procedure development.
