The AACI Physician Clinical Leadership Initiative (PCLI) will host "Career Development: Making the Transition From Training to Clinician Investigator" at 1:00 pm eastern time on Wednesday, March 9.
The webinar will provide a practical discussion of paths to developing a career in clinical investigation in cancer research. The panel consists of Cedars-Sinai Cancer physicians who have achieved success in launching clinical research early in their careers who will provide examples of challenges and solutions as well as early career and transition advice.
Panelists are Karen Reckamp, MD, MS, director of medical oncology and associate director of clinical research; Stephen Freedland, MD, professor of surgery (urology), the Warschaw, Robertson, Law Families Chair in Prostate Cancer, director of the Center for Integrated Research on Cancer and Lifestyle (CIRCL), and associate director for education and training; Arsen Osipov, MD, assistant professor and GI medical oncologist; and Jun Gong, MD, medical oncologist and gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers researcher.
The primary audience for the webinar is cancer center fellowship directors, junior faculty, and senior fellowship directors; however, all AACI members are welcome to attend.
