The AACI Clinical Research Innovation (CRI) Steering Committee is seeking nominations. The CRI Steering Committee helps guide and implement activities across AACI cancer center clinical trials offices. Current steering committee members will vote, and three new members will be elected to the committee. They will begin their three-year term in October 2025.
CRI Steering Committee Member Criteria and Responsibilities:
- Closely involved with clinical trial operations at their center and aware of emerging issues in clinical research
- Hold a senior leadership position within the clinical trials office (director, assistant director, executive director, senior manager, or medical director)
- Able to attend scheduled monthly virtual CRI meetings, an annual in-person CRI planning meeting, ad hoc meetings, scheduled workshops or symposia, and roundtable or breakout sessions at conferences
- Able to lead working group activities and engage participants to carry out CRI objectives, as designated by the AACI programs team
Approximate time commitment:
- Attend one 1-hour virtual meeting each month
- Attend one full day in-person planning meeting in the fall
- Attend the three-day AACI CRI annual meeting and potentially moderate one or more sessions
- Participate in virtual planning calls for sessions (1 hour per call)
- Participate voluntarily in other ad-hoc groups and projects
All AACI cancer center members are welcome to submit nominations through 5:00 pm Pacific time on Wednesday, July 16.
