CADEx Spotlight: Bringing Data and People Together in Clinical Research

align-left

As clinical trials continue to evolve—with decentralized models, new technologies, and shifting data infrastructure—cancer centers are rethinking how to better align research with the communities they serve.

"Bringing Data and People Together in Clinical Research" will focus on practical ways to use catchment area data to ensure that clinical trial enrollment reflects both the broader population and specific neighborhoods. Panelists will share how they’re using databases to track enrollment trends, identify disparities, and guide outreach. They will also explore the use of emerging tools like machine learning and geospatial genomics to better understand geographic and genomic patterns that may influence trial design and participation.

Christopher McNair, PhD, of Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson, will moderate the session, which is scheduled for 9:00 am eastern time on Wednesday, March 11.

The 2026 AACI Catchment Area Data Excellence (CADEx) Conference will take place March 9-11 at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead.
