AACI announces changes to its treasurer and Finance & Investment Committee, effective October 2026.

Julie C. Schaum, MS, associate director for administration, and senior director for research administration at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, has assumed the role of AACI treasurer. She succeeds David M. Gosky, MA, MBA, vice president of cancer research operations at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Temple Health. Gosky's term concluded at the end of the 2026 AACI/CCAF Annual Meeting on October 27.

Gosky served on AACI's Finance & Investment Committee for seven years, including five years as treasurer, a role he assumed in October 2021. Throughout his tenure, Gosky provided valuable financial oversight and guidance during a period of significant organizational growth and transition. AACI extends its sincere appreciation for his dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to AACI’s long-term financial sustainability.

As treasurer, Schaum will serve on AACI's Board of Directors and lead the Finance & Investment Committee, which provides oversight of the association's financial operations, annual financial audit, investments, and long-term financial planning.

AACI also welcomes Nicholas Fisher, MBA, of Siteman Cancer Center, as a new member of the Finance & Investment Committee.

These transitions reflect AACI's continued commitment to strong financial stewardship and responsible governance in support of AACI’s mission to advance the work of North America's leading cancer centers.
