AACI Announces New CRI Steering Committee Members

The AACI Clinical Research Innovation (CRI) Steering Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of
Edward J. Kim, MD, PhD, as its new chair-elect, effective October 1, 2026. Dr. Kim serves as interim chief for the Division of Hematology and Oncology and professor of medicine at UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. He will serve one year as chair-elect before assuming the role of CRI chair in October 2027, succeeding Margie Kasner, MD, MSCE.

CRI is also pleased to welcome three newly elected steering committee members:
  • Stephanie Brogan, CCRP, senior director of the clinical trials office, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School
  • Wencesley A. Paez, MD, MS, director of clinical research operations, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Temple University
  • Kelli Thorne, MPH, CCRP, director of the research compliance office, Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah
Their terms will also begin on October 1. We look forward to their contributions to CRI’s mission.
