Registration is now open for AACI’s new Leadership Diversity and Development Initiative (LDDI) Workshop, which will be held November 8-9 at Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel. The event will convene a diverse group of emerging leaders from AACI cancer centers with both didactic and experiential leadership development sessions over 1.5 days. Each AACI cancer center director may select one emerging leader from their center to attend. New cancer center directors (within two years of appointment) are encouraged to register themselves as their center’s attendee.
The selected participants should represent diverse backgrounds, perspectives, roles, and qualifications. We are especially seeking participants from underrepresented groups based on ethnicity, race, and gender/gender identity. Attendees should demonstrate a track record of leadership in their cancer center as deputy director, associate director, program leader, or cancer center director, and express a desire to advance within the cancer center leadership structure.
The registration deadline is 5:00 pm Pacific time on Monday, August 15.
