Open up and say "Ha!" The Healthy Humorist^® Brad Nieder, MD, CSP ("Dr. Brad"), will deliver the opening keynote of the 18th Annual AACI Clinical Research Innovation (CRI) Meeting. Described as "Jerry Seinfeld with an MD," Dr. Brad is a doctor, clean comedian, and professional speaker who uses humor to educate and inspire. His keynote presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23 at 12:30 pm central time.

Driven by the adage that "laughter is the best medicine," Dr. Brad has been presenting his unique brand of health care humor to corporate audiences and conference attendees across industries—and across the country—for over 20 years. And since 2011, he has been doing so as a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). When he's not riffing on health care lingo, pharmaceutical ads, and other medical topics, he teaches audiences about the benefits of laughter, from combating stress to living longer. He's even been known to break into song!

The 18th Annual AACI CRI Meeting will take place June 23-25 at Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL. The meeting brings together leaders from across academic cancer centers, industry, and research organizations to explore forward-thinking strategies in clinical trials and oncology research operations. The theme of this year's meeting is Shaping the Future of Clinical Research Innovation.
