Executive Coach to Deliver Annual Meeting Keynote
Peter A. James, PhD, will deliver the opening keynote of the 2026 AACI/CCAF Annual Meeting at 2:00 pm central time on Sunday, October 25. In "Hope is a Strategy: Sustaining Yourself While Leading Change You Don't Control," Dr. James posits that cancer center leaders are uniquely positioned within a matrix of academic and health system leadership, partners, funders, to implement lasting, meaningful change at their institutions.
As the president and CEO of HCG Strategic Partners, Dr. James helps organizations build stronger, more resilient cultures from the inside out through executive coaching, leadership development, and change initiatives. He holds a PhD in organization and management, an MBA, and a Professional Certified Coach credential. He is also a certified DiSC and emotional intelligence assessor and brings over three decades of experience as a U.S. Army officer, business owner, entrepreneur, and university professor to his work.
The 2026 AACI/CCAF Annual Meeting is scheduled for October 25-27 at the Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile. Late registration is open now.
