align-left

The AACI CRI Steering Committee is currently soliciting abstracts for the 13th Annual AACI CRI Meeting. This year’s meeting theme will focus on adapting cancer clinical research for 2021 and beyond. The purpose of the abstracts is to inform meeting attendees about clinical trials office challenges and solutions implemented at AACI cancer centers.

Updates to the 2021 Submission Process

This year, AACI has made slight updates to the abstract submission categories. The categories will be Regulatory, Training, Quality Assurance, Remote Monitoring and Auditing, Finance/CCSG/PRMS, Trial Recruitment & Community Outreach and Engagement, Trial Start-up, Clinical Operations, and Investigator-Initiated Trials. As in 2020, abstracts will be submitted online. The online submission tool will open in February. In the meantime, you may draft your abstract using the AACI CRI abstract template. AACI is providing access to its institutional style guide to help authors standardize the format of all abstracts to simplify their review and publication in CRI's book of abstracts and posters.

Three abstracts will be selected for oral presentation at the meeting. Up to two authors of each winning abstract will receive a complimentary meeting registration. While AACI encourages collaboration with external organizations, only employees of AACI member cancer centers are eligible for complimentary meeting registration. Additionally, AACI will recognize seven abstracts, one from each abstract category, to be presented at an honorable mention session.

Information about the poster session is forthcoming.
