COVID-19 Concerns Prompt Meeting Changes

The health and well-being of AACI meeting attendees, exhibitors, and cancer center patients is our top priority. With that in mind, we have been closely monitoring the coronavirus outbreak that has led to COVID-19 infection across the United States. Due to mounting concerns about COVID-19 transmission and travel restrictions, AACI is exploring options for its upcoming meetings.

Together with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), AACI has postponed the associations' annual joint Hill Day, originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 13. Alternative dates for the advocacy day, as well as a potential virtual Hill Day, are under consideration.

At this time, there is no plan to cancel or postpone the 12th Annual AACI Clinical Research Innovation (CRI) Meeting, scheduled for July 7-9.

However, due to the evolving nature of this public health emergency, AACI has made the following amendments to registration deadlines for the meeting:

  • Early-bird registration will be extended to Friday, May 15.
  • Regular registration will be amended to May 16 through June 8.
  • Late registration rates remain the same.
Abstracts are currently being reviewed. Authors will be notified of abstracts selected for oral presentation in May. Any changes to this schedule will be communicated to abstract authors.
