AACI’s 2018 Report recaps a year of transitions for the association—a new president and executive director, a redesigned website and newsletter, and an expanded staff to better serve AACI’s 98 cancer center members.

To recognize a decade of growth, AACI renamed its Clinical Research Initiative (CRI)—the program is now called Clinical Research Innovation. The association also launched an initiative to explore best practices in CAR T-cell therapy and began planning a legislation library under the leadership of President Roy A. Jensen, MD. In 2019, AACI will continue to develop programming that supports the interests of its members and provide peer-to-peer networking opportunities for cancer center leadership.

By providing a forum to address common challenges, AACI helps cancer centers keep pace with the changing landscape in science, technology, and health care. No other organization provides the level of coordinated engagement that AACI does on behalf of North America’s leading academic cancer centers. In 2019, AACI will continue to develop programming that supports the interests of its members and provide peer-to-peer networking opportunities for cancer center leadership.
