St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an exciting new opportunity for a program coordinator in the HPV Cancer Prevention Program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the activities of the St. Jude Comprehensive Cancer Center. The St. Jude Comprehensive Cancer Center is focused on improving cancer-related outcomes and collaboration in the St. Jude catchment area and beyond. Identifies, establishes, and sustains partnerships with internal, community, clinical, government, non-profit, and other organizational partners to further programmatic reach. Develops and delivers education and training materials to internal and external groups, including healthcare providers, general public, and other stakeholders. Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the St. Jude Comprehensive Cancer Center and the organization. Job Responsibilities:

Develops (and/or adapts), implements, evaluates, and/or sustains Cancer Center activities. Develops (and/or adapts), implements, evaluates, and/or sustains programmatic goals and objectives and tracks progress towards goals and objectives. Develops and establishes programmatic policies and procedures. Convenes and participates in advisory committee meetings and seeks advice on the operations and development of the program.

Conducts the day-to-day operations of the program. Works autonomously and collaboratively to execute the tasks and duties of the program. Ensures that all program materials are prepared and disseminated. Maintains records of all events and activities related to the program. Manages and troubleshoots problems. Recruits, trains, and supervises any volunteers or interns working with the program. Collaborates on and supports research efforts. Meets with and reports regularly to the Program Manager, HPV Cancer Prevention Program on progress, challenges, and new ideas.

Oversees the development and/or adaptation of innovative educational and intervention content for the general public and key stakeholders. Works with the Cancer Center and/or other professional experts to ensure materials are aligned, of the highest quality and evidence-based. Ensures materials are accurate and meet the needs of the diverse audiences being targeted including healthcare professionals, community agencies, students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders. Collaborates with communications teams and other partners as needed to develop and distribute content. Ensures that educational content developed for the program is strategically disseminated through relevant platforms, e.g., stjude.org, Together website, social media, print and other channels. Participates in research activities resulting in the creation of reports and published manuscripts.

Provides education and consultation to internal and external stakeholders. Participates in applicable St. Jude and Cancer Center committee meetings. Plans and carries out educational activities, such as training programs, workshops, and seminars. Develops and/or adapts patient/family education materials.
Promotes and disseminates the program throughout the catchment area and beyond. Develops long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, such as school boards, community organizations, professional organizations and civic groups to further the outreach efforts of the programs. Conceptualizes, prepares, and disseminates materials for program dissemination. Works with other local, regional, and national organizations to collaborate and coordinate program efforts. Ensures that the program adheres to all applicable laws and regulations.

Shares program impact and outcomes with the broader Cancer Center and professional community as well as with other stakeholders. Develops impact and outcome evaluation formats for the program (evaluation activity). Designs, administers, manages, and/or analyzes evaluation tools (evaluation activity). Participates in local, regional, and national meetings. Prepares reports documenting and describing activities and impact. Submits abstracts and manuscripts as applicable.

Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of HPV Cancer Prevention Program, COE Program, and the organization.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Minimum Education and/or Training:

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Work, Community Health, Nursing, or a related field required

Minimum Experience:

Three (3) years of experience in partnership and collaboration building activities, community outreach ,and/or community development or related field required.
Experience developing, implementing, evaluating, and/or sustaining public health programs preferred.
Previous research experience is preferred.

CompensationIn recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $60,320 - $105,040 per year for the role of Program Coordinator - HPV Cancer Center Prevention Program.
