LSU Health New Orleans is actively recruiting cancer researchers to become part of an emerging NCI-Designated Cancer Center for the state of Louisiana, which has some of the highest incidence, mortality, disparities, and social vulnerabilities in the country. The LSU LCMC Health Cancer Center, which has been identified as the top priority of the President of LSU, is based in New Orleans, Louisiana and capitalizes on the vast resources of LSU, community engagement across the state, partnerships with LCMC Health hospitals, and LCRC research institutions.
As a part of this effort, LSU New Orleans’ School of Public Health is now recruiting for individuals who want to be a part of this exciting opportunity. We are building a team of population scientists and community health scientists, who, in partnership with clinical and basic scientists, highly engaged communities, and state leaders, are committed to making a difference in cancer outcomes.
