Key Leadership Responsibilities
Strategic & Clinical Leadership
Provide executive oversight for Perioperative Services and OR management.
Elevate quality, safety, and reliability across the perioperative continuum.
Build a collaborative, high‑trust culture aligned with City of Hope’s values:

Clinical Operations & Workforce Optimization
Oversee daily operations for two campuses.
Optimize anesthesiology staffing models for inpatient and outpatient ORs.
Improve scheduling, case mix, room utilization, and throughput.
Recruit, retain, and mentor anesthesiology faculty and CRNAs.
CRNA Team Collaboration
Strengthen MD–CRNA team-based practice with clear scopes and shared goals.
Support CRNA development and workforce planning.
Quality, Safety, and Growth
Lead initiatives to enhance safety, access, and patient experience.
Apply OR performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
Translate anesthesiology market trends into actionable strategy.
Qualifications
MD or DO, Board‑Certified in Anesthesiology; California licensure eligible.
Proven leadership in a complex, high‑acuity perioperative environment.
Expertise in OR staffing, scheduling, productivity, and throughput.
Experience collaborating with and leading CRNAs.
Strong recruitment, retention, and team‑building track record.
Deep understanding of anesthesiology marketplace dynamics.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $450,000–$850,000, plus leadership incentive program.
