In 2021 AACI continued to take a strong position on the impact of systemic racism and other forms of discrimination in public health. The 2021 AACI Report details the association’s efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at North America’s leading cancer centers and in our communities, including introduction of AACI’s Cancer Health Equity Award and AACI President Dr. Caryn Lerman’s presidential initiative focusing on diversifying the cancer leadership pipeline.

Despite the many pandemic challenges of the past two years, AACI experienced continued growth in 2021. The association welcomed Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medicine to its roster, bringing its membership number to 103, Fulgent Genetics joined to the AACI Corporate Roundtable, and Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) became an AACI sustaining member.

In 2022 AACI will develop innovative programming that supports the interests of its members and provide peer-to-peer networking opportunities for cancer center leadership. AACI will continue to empower cancer centers by providing a unifying platform for members to develop best practices, receive high quality education, engage in meaningful advocacy activities, advance public policy, and collaborate with each other.

Membership benefits for 2022 include:
