The Case Comprehensive Cancer Center invites applications for a faculty position at the level of Associate or Full Professor with a research agenda focused on implementation science and/or behavioral interventions. An implementation or dissemination science agenda would focus on development of methods and their application to translate population science or other research discoveries into practical strategies for routine healthcare and public health settings that can improve cancer burden indicators, particularly in underserved communities. A behavioral science agenda would ideally focus on interventions to reduce the burden of obesity and the downstream obesity-associated cancers. The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in relevant population science fields such as public health, epidemiology, implementation science, behavioral science, sociology, and nutrition, or a MD degree with additional substantive research training. Applicants must have a strong record of funded research, peer-reviewed publications, and evidence of mentorship experience. Commensurate with experience and interest, an opportunity for a program co-leader role in the Cancer Center may be available.
