align-left

AACI's Physician Clinical Leadership Initiative (PCLI) will host a webinar, titled “Not Your Typical Wellness Talk,” at 3:00 pm eastern time on Thursday, March 28.

Burnout in health care is on the rise and many clinicians are leaving the profession altogether. Webinar presenters will acknowledge and explore unique and often ignored sources of stress for healthcare professionals and what institutions, teams, and individuals can to do support one another.

Panelists are Quan Ly, MD, FACS, professor of surgical oncology and associate director of diversity, equity, and inclusion at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center; Sarah Richards, MD, FACP, associate professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and senior medical director of clinician experience for Nebraska Medicine; and Steven Wengel, MD, professor of psychiatry and assistant vice chancellor for campus wellness for the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Additional free PCLI webinars will be hosted quarterly. Support opportunities are available throughout the year for both PCLI and CARDS webinars. Contact Program Coordinator Hailey Honeycutt with any questions about webinars, or Development Coordinator Shelly Pocratsky with questions about supporting AACI activities and events.
