Call for Abstracts: 18th Annual AACI CRI Meeting
The AACI Clinical Research Innovation (CRI) Steering Committee is currently soliciting abstracts for the 18th Annual AACI CRI Meeting. This year’s meeting theme is "Shaping the Future of Clinical Trial Innovation." The purpose of the abstracts is to inform attendees about challenges and solutions implemented at AACI cancer centers, showcasing advancements across key areas in clinical research and operational excellence.
Updates to the 2026 Submission Process
This year, AACI has changed the abstract submission categories to provide more detail. The updated categories are:
- Clinical Trial Operations (Trial Start-up, Regulatory, Finance, Data Management, IITs)
- Clinical Trial Access (Network, Satellite, and Other Multisite Accrual Enhancement Efforts)
- Community Outreach and Engagement, and Community Representation and Inclusion
- Cross-cutting Innovation and Collaboration
- Emerging Technology
- Prioritization and Scientific Review
- Quality Assurance
- Training, Career Development, and Staff Retention
As in 2025, abstracts will be submitted online. The online submission tool will open February 2, 2026. In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to draft your abstract using the abstract template provided on the 2026 Call for Abstracts webpage. A style guide is available to help standardize the format of all abstracts and facilitate their review.
Three abstracts will be selected for oral presentation at the meeting. Up to two authors of each winning abstract will receive a complimentary meeting registration or a refund for a previously paid meeting registration fee. While AACI encourages collaboration with external organizations, only employees of AACI member cancer centers are eligible for complimentary meeting registration. All accepted abstract authors will have the opportunity to submit a poster, which will be on display during the meeting poster session and will be featured on AACI's website.
