Conducting multicenter trials is a hot topic in AACI members’ clinical trials offices. During this session, panelists will discuss how to effectively run multicenter trials. In addition, they will present on how to operationalize investigator-initiated trials, manage single and site-specific IRB reviews, and address the challenges of adaptive trial design and drug distribution.

The session will be presented by Moshe Kelsen, executive director of administration and clinical research operations at Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, Columbia University Medical Center, and Marie Malikowski, associate director of clinical research operations at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Melissa Nashawati, director of quality assurance at Mays Cancer Center, UT Health San Antonio, will moderate.

The 11th Annual AACI CRI Meeting will be held July 9-11, at the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel. The theme for this year’s meeting is "Strategies to Maximize Innovation to Advance Cancer Clinical Research." Attendees will have the opportunity to share innovative solutions to cancer clinical trials office challenges through abstracts and posters. This year, CRI received 66 abstracts and saw an increase in partnerships between cancer centers and other organizations.
