Henry Ciolino, PhD, director of the Office of Cancer Centers at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), will participate in a panel session at the
11th Annual AACI CRI Meeting that will highlight the NCI's Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) submission guidelines and best practices for preparing a CCSG application. Dr. Ciolino will present on defining a cancer center’s catchment area, community outreach and engagement, and the updated funding opportunity announcement (FOA) that will go into effect in January 2020.
Gisele Sarosy, MD, program director, Coordinating Center for Clinical Trials at NCI, will join Dr. Ciolino on the panel. Her presentation will focus on the clinical trials reporting program and how it can benefit clinical trials offices.
The session will be moderated by
Theresa Cummings, RN, MS, CCRP, administrator for clinical research operations at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The CRI meeting will be held July 9-11, at the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel. The theme for this year’s meeting is "Strategies to Maximize Innovation to Advance Cancer Clinical Research."
