The Project Manager (RPM) is an integral part of cutting-edge research at The Tisch Cancer Institute (TCI). S/he is responsible for independently managing projects from concept to activation while ensuring compliance and scientific integrity. The RPM provides specialized expertise and support in developing, writing and editing clinical research protocols, developing a regulatory strategy and completing agency submissions and provides continuous project management to ensure timely execution of cancer related investigator-initiated clinical trials. The research subject matter is very broad and may include but is not limited to first-in-human agents, novel applications or combinations of FDA approved agents, surgical and other devices, screening and diagnostics, targeted biomarkers, quality of life, behavioral and psychosocial interventional clinical trials.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Serve as a protocol writer, content editor and document repository manager for investigator-initiated documents, protocols, patient facing materials and manuals
Provides regulatory affairs expertise and administrative support to ensure timely submission to all governing regulatory authorities    
Manages protocol development lifecycle from concept to open to accrual to accelerate the discovery and delivery of investigator-initiated clinical trials that aim to improve the lives of cancer patients. 
Serves as project leader for special projects and enterprise clinical research initiatives.


Bachelor’s degree or greater preferred, or combination of applicable work experience and education.
3+ years of relevant experience with Master’s degree; 5+ years with Bachelor’s degree; project management-specific experience preferred
