In partnership with the Department of Medicine/Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology, the Meyer Cancer Center (MCC) at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP) invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

We are seeking highly motivated, individuals experienced in clinical trials research with demonstrated potential for creativity and excellence to oversee and expand clinical and translational research across four New York City-based NYP clinical partner sites. Qualified candidates will have an advanced degree (MD or MD/PhD) with a strong record of independent clinical trial leadership roles and scientific accomplishments.

As a matrixed cancer center, the MCC converges the talent of basic, translational, clinical and population-based cancer investigators across Weill Cornell Medicine. The WCM/NYP/MCC cancer care network encompasses the MCC catchment area, a patient population with significant ethnic diversity and health disparities. The MCC, WCM and NYP are committed to providing equitable care across this network and to developing a clinical and translational research program that specifically addresses the cancer burden in these populations. Current resources include a 2000 sq ft Clinical/Translational Research Center located in the newly constructed Center for Community Health Building at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and a Translational Research Center at NYP Queens Hospital with plans for continued clinical research space expansion.

Interested applicants should forward a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and brief statement of career goals as a single *.pdf file to: Lisa Newman, MD and David Nanus, MD at [email protected].

Diversity is one of Weill Cornell Medicine’s core values and is essential to achieving excellence in patient care, research, and education.
