As part of the UF Health Cancer Center’s Study Coordination & Data Management division, the Clinical Research Manager will lead a team of clinical research professionals and will be responsible for helping to shape, grow and develop the clinical research operations of our Experimental Therapeutics Incubator (ETI). The ETI is the UF Health Cancer Center’s premier research unit and focuses on the conduct of early phase trials, including first in human studies, that are critical to the advancement of cancer care. This fast-paced program was formed to serve as a resource for patients within North Central Florida and beyond who need options for recurrent and refractory cancers and aims to offer a wide variety of cutting-edge therapies while providing patients and their families with streamlined, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
This is a management level position, ideal for candidates with an established career in clinical research and expertise in oncology. Employees in these roles operate as part of our collaborative research enterprise and are fundamental to the progress of cancer research being conducted at the University of Florida. Minimum qualifications include:
- A Master's degree in appropriate area of specialization, or a bachelor's degree in appropriate areas of specialization and two years of experience, are minimally required.
- Licensure as a registered nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statutes* required upon hire and throughout employment.
- Professional clinical research and/or oncology certification (through SOCRA, ACRP, etc.) are required at the earliest of 12 months from hire or eligibility.
