As Senior Director of Grant Development and Scientific Writer, the incumbent will play a crucial role in securing funding for cancer-focused research projects and advancing scientific initiatives for the Center. Primary responsibilities will involve: assisting HCC investigators with developing grant proposals and managing the grant application process; creating scientifically accurate and compelling content, such as research papers, reports, and scientific articles; identify funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other relevant sources; foster collaboration and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including investigators, collaborators, and funding agencies; mentor junior investigators and provide training on grant writing techniques and scientific writing skills. Expertise in grant development, scientific writing, and project management will be essential in driving scientific progress and securing resources for impactful research projects at HCC.
