The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) is now recruiting for a Senior Director, Clinical Operations and Compliance leadership position to manage our clinical research enterprise. 

The Senior Director, Clinical Operations and Compliance position oversees a staff of approximately 50 FTE’s, a budget of nearly $6M and over 375 open clinical trials in our downtown Baltimore location. Additional interactions with our Cancer Network and institutional offices will be required. The Director leads a team of managers for the Hematologic Malignancies, Solid Tumor, BMT and Cellular Therapies, Laboratory and Regulatory groups. Ongoing interactions with the clinical care team should be expected. We seek an experienced, forward looking, independent manager with a record of innovation, strong financial and supervisory skills and patient-centric solutions.

UMGCCC is a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center devoted to providing cutting-edge therapies and individualized care in over 55,000 cancer patient visits each year. Our internationally recognized experts in cancer care and research, faculty of the University of Maryland School of Medicine or other professional schools of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, work together to offer new hope to cancer patients through better prevention, detection and treatment of all types of cancer. Bringing promising new therapies from the laboratory to the bedside is a high priority, and UMGCCC scientists are immersed in research on new drugs and therapies, as evidenced by the more than 200 accruing clinical trials currently underway.
