Manager of Clinical Research Monitoring

The Clinical Research Quality Assurance (CRQA) department at Memorial Sloan Kettering leads and carries out the overall design, implementation and maintenance of a robust, effective, and proactive monitoring/auditing program, while anticipating changes in regulations and best practices, to minimize the center’s risk associated with its clinical research program.

We are currently seeking a Manager of Clinical Research Monitoring to oversee and actively manage the daily operations of our centralized monitoring activities. This individual will be a critical member of our CRQA team. Join us today and help make a difference every day!

You Will:

Ensure through monitoring and oversight activities that the clinical research program at MSK adheres to all federal regulatory requirements and International Center for Harmonization guidance on Good Clinical Practice.
Lead, mentor and develop the clinical research monitoring team to ensure that quality issue investigations, root cause analyses and corrective and preventive action plans are developed and completed in support of sustainable compliance.
Evaluate real-time feedback from Industrial Sponsors and escalate, as appropriate, emergent protocol compliance, data quality or process concerns.
Work with Clinical Research Administration leadership and Clinical Research Operations leaders to develop and implement continuous quality improvement and inspection readiness initiatives.
Develop analytical methods to track monitoring results and findings to measure impact and success, including real-time feedback.

You Have:

7+ years of clinical research experience.
4+ years staff supervision and management experience.
Broad-based and detailed knowledge of Human Subjects Protection, Good Clinical Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice, FDA/EMA requirements, clinical research-related federal regulations, HIPAA and Quality Standards and Systems.
Superior communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrated analytical skills - A strong ability and understanding on how to collect, analyze, interpret and prepare data for presentation.

This position will be primarily remote with 1-2 in-person days per month in New York City. This may change based on current climate/institutional expectations.
