The Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a talented Clinical Research Data Analyst to join the team. This role is responsible for supporting the SKCC’s clinical trial data quality and reporting team. This individual will support SKCC internal data needs including: producing automated data quality and issue tracking reports, ensuring data accessibility for SKCC researchers, staff, and administration via ad-hoc report generation and interactive dashboard creation. The individual is also responsible for ensuring all external data reporting requirements are met, including transfer of clinical trial data to the NCI’s Clinical Trials Reporting Program (CTRP) within expected timeframes and generation of reports required for SKCC’s Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG). The position will also provide leadership and coordination on multiple projects assigned, utilizing subject matter expertise to propose and implement innovative project solutions. · Maintain knowledge of CTRP, CCSG, and other National in order to manage and oversee reporting requirements
Ability to understand and integrate complex data from disparate data sources based on project-specific needs
Build strong relationships with the SKCC community to determine changing needs, gaps, and areas for improvement.
Develop custom tools and reports in support of data quality and reporting requirements
Educate the SKCC community on the available support and platforms provided
Troubleshoot issues across projects, provide feedback and areas for improvement
Support researchers, clinicians, and administrators by providing subject knowledge and solutions
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
Minimum least 3 years of professional level experience and/or post-doctoral training in biomedical informatics or related field
Strong background in oncology, cancer biology, molecular biology, or related field
Experience with data mining and data analysis; Experience with relational databases.
Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g. Qlik, Tableau)
Must have ability to communicate, prioritize, and organize projects among a broad spectrum of focuses
