The University of Illinois Cancer Center is seeking candidates for an Assistant Director of Cancer Research Career Enhancement and Education position.
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Cancer Research Career Enhancement and Education, this position is responsible for overseeing, developing and integrating the University of Illinois Cancer Center's training and education initiatives into programmatic efforts in accordance with National Cancer Institute requirements. Responsibilities will include writing section of the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG)/P30 for education and training, creating metrics and collecting, and disseminating data across the campus as it relates to cancer education and training.
Masters degree in public health or related field (i.e basic sciences) required. PhD preferred.
Minimum of ten years related experience in program development required.
Demonstrated experience in grant writing and mentoring a plus. Experienced Postdoctoral Research.
Associates with interest in administering training and education are encouraged to apply.
Experience in writing and administering training grants preferred.
