The Terminology and Technology Task Forces developed a prototype dynamic clinical trials search engine in 2002 and, to date, 18 cancer centers have adopted the framework. These centers are now automatically providing data, in real-time, without any need to re-submit protocol information. Once available publicly, the search engine will provide current, accurate protocol information for patients and investigators.
